So here we are, I honestly can’t believe its come to this but… ArtyGraffarti.com turned 1 yesterday, thats 365 [give or take] days of documenting Melbourne’s strong street art and graffiti scene. I still never thought it would last this long and the opportunities and people I’ve met through doing it have just been the true icing on the cake, it’s been a great first year. The amount of times this site has been clicked on is just silly, it’s not in the hundreds of thousands or anything, but it’s way more then I ever anticipated. So thanks to everybody, from the artists and writers who put up and have [most probably annoyingly] allowed me to put posts on their Facebook pages. All you great subscribers that have joined and followed this page, no matter how long its been, you guys really keep this thing going, it’s really an amazing to think that there’s over 400 of you, thank you. To all those who have dropped by also, I hope I’ve shown you a side of Melbourne you’ve yet to see, showcasing why this in one of the best cities in the world for talent in the culture, no matter where you are in the world. And finally, thanks to all those who have retweeted, Tumbled or shared anything thats been on this page, the intention with it creation was to show Melbourne’s street art and graffiti to a wider audience and the more the merrier, I say.
It’s been a great year and I only hope I can keep pushing the content out and bring more and better the longer it goes on, stay tuned as I hope to finally get the magazine out with the best of the best work that I just can’t bring myself to put on the internet. But for now, I made this little video on a recent excursion to a very popular spot in Northcote, I won’t put the address as some owners tend to try take this kind of stuff down, but here it is anyway, hope you enjoy it, thanks again.
By the way, the spelling mistake is delibrate
